ERM 02 Profile HONEYCOMB CORE CONSTRUCTION

Originally developed in the aerospace industry, honeycomb construction is widely used in airplane, high speed rail cars and crash barrier construction. It is the choice for any application requiring an exceptional strength to weight ratio.

Environmental Doors with honeycomb core are comparable in weight to solid wood doors yet 30% lighter than comparable solid MDF doors.
Not Available in Euro Doors, Fire Doors, French Doors or Flat Panel Doors.

All Doors are factory primed with a solvent based primer on all six sides.

Optional Premium Priming is available. Premium Priming consists of two generous coats of Sherman Williams oil based, heavy solids premium primer on all six sides.
Factory priming is not a substitute for complete field finishing.

Standard sticking and raised panel profiles represent the most popular construction. Unless otherwise specified, doors are quoted and produced in these profiles.
Optional sticking and raised panel profiles must be specified. For custom designs and profiles please submit a detailed drawing including the sticking panel profile.
